ELLIE barges into the government meeting room.

ELLIE

I'm here! Sorry I'm late. Hi Thor.

Where is everyone? God, I'm so late everyone left again.

THOR

No one's here yet. About the Secr-

ELLIE

Not even Elijah?

THOR

No one.

ELLIE

Why not?

THOR

All the roads are closed. The police and fire department has been dispatched, Rangers are coming in, but we can't move them so...

ELLIE

Everyone is late because of penguins?

THOR

The whole city is shutting down.

ELLIE

We haven't even started yet!

THOR

I'm not sure this is the kind of job you start, I think it is the kind of job you try to keep up with.

ELLIE

Well let's not start with that attitude! How did you get here?

THOR

I walked. Listen -

ELLIE

God, it's stuffy in here. Doesn't this building have air conditioning?

THOR

It's a converted fishing warehouse.

ELLIE

With a stress on "converted"!

THOR

No.

ELLIE opens the window. We can't hear any penguins yet, but throughout the meeting they'll start appearing, until finally they're really loud.

THOR

Can you see any penguins?

ELLIE

You think they're coming here too?
